Monthly Luncheon Series: READING VISUAL TO WRITE (RIGHT) STORIES

  • OU Tulsa - Perkins Auditorium 4502 East 41st Street Tulsa, OK, 74135 United States (map)

95 million images were uploaded to Instagram yesterday. Images seen by 10 million people on Facebook changed the direction of the US election in 2016. The need for visual literacy is growing at the moment, and you don't have a strategy. You need to get one, a personal one and a business one, and "hire another designer" isn't going to cut it.

Key Takeaways:

  • Learn how the impact of visuals is HUGEr than you think

  • See how you can teach yourself and your organization to be better with them (it's fun and not a skill just for "designers")

  • Understand how once you can read and write better visually, you're going to have more success

Location: OU-Tulsa, Perkins Auditorium
Parking: Parking lot onsite

Registration - Includes actionable topic, lunch, and networking.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:  David Hooker

Once upon a time, David Hooker was a writer, you can tell that from the opening to this bio. Somewhere along the way he got lost and ended up leading a team of world-class designers who make beautiful visuals for rockstars, scientists, entrepreneurs, TV hosts, filmmakers, politicians, educators, and a guy who likes to jump into volcanoes. He is the Lead Evangelist for Prezi, the presentation platform that’s changed the way 85 million people share their ideas; a mission David takes so seriously that he helps hundreds of people every year do just that.
